Blake and Ava met in band class back in 2016. Their connection wasn’t instant—Blake had a knack for annoying Ava during jazz band, pep band, and regular band rehearsals. Despite his antics, Ava found Blake’s charm hard to resist. Throughout high school, they remained “band friends,” They shared music during pep band games which led to antics against the student section.

It wasn’t until February 2019 that their friendship deepened. They were seated next to each other in math class, their casual banter turned into playful flirting. As their conversations grew longer, their grades began to take a backseat—but neither of them seemed to mind. Their relationship blossomed through spontaneous adventures and heartfelt discussions about faith, family, and dreams. Before long, their talks about the future naturally included one another.

Blake and Ava dated for two and a half years before the realities of college life led them to part ways. Both felt they needed time to grow individually before committing fully to such a meaningful love. Though they thrived in their separate lives, there was an undeniable pull between them that couldn’t be ignored. When Blake reached out to reconnect, it became clear their bond had never truly faded. Laughter, deep conversations, and impromptu adventures rekindled, reminding them of the peace they found in one another company. They knew they were soulmates, far better together than apart.

Now, our journey together is just beginning. We are thrilled to step into the next chapter as husband and wife, building a home filled with love and spending our lives serving one another and Christ.
